CirculAgronomie at the Circular Living Symposium 2019!

On the 28th of June, CirculAgronomie had the fantastic opportunity to attend the Circular Living Symposium 2019 in Bangkok! This conference, organised by PTTGC and supported by National Geographic was set to promote circular economy and discuss about new ideas and challenges, with interventions from global experts, Thaï and international companies and foundations.
After the opening speech made by the permanent secretary of the thaï Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, we had the opportunity to discover the latest trends in circular economy with a focus on the plastic issue, learn eye opening facts and witness the international commitments on this topic!
Among them, one can find global cooperation plans to clean the oceans from Spain to Thaïland (Upcycling the Oceans project), the creation of new action plans in Asia following the european model, and a strong will to educate children, employees and citizens.
A pitch contest also allowed the new generation of entrepreneurs to share their innovative ideas! Attending this international event was truly inspirational and motivating, showing that many companies and actors are willing to take the step all across the world !
